On Saturday, April 13, more than a dozen volunteers worked with Friends of Oaks Bottom to remove invasive species on the south side of the refuge. The intrepid and spirited Ann Marie Santos from Portland Parks led the effort, and the work was both joyful and productive.
We are so grateful for all the volunteers who continue to work to help keep the refuge beautiful. Stay tuned for information about forthcoming work parties as the spring unfolds.
