Friends of Oaks Bottom Work Party
Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge Planting Event
Please join Portland Parks & Recreation and the Friends of Oaks Bottom for a planting and non-native plant removal event at Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge.
We will be planting and mulching native shrubs to benefit the health of this ecosystem and provide more habitat for local wildlife. If there’s time, we will remove non-native plants. Gloves, tools, and instruction will be provided.
Registration is required.
To register, please fill out the registration form.
Meeting Location
Park at and enter the part at the North Parking Lot & Trailhead. Enter the trail which will be marked with a white A-frame sign on the south side of the parking lot. There will be about a ~10 minute walk downhill on a paved path to our meeting site. Follow the event signs and look for the green canopy.
If the parking lot is full, there is additional parking along SE Milwaukie Avenue.
