Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge is a 163-acre floodplain wetland that sits along the east bank of the Willamette River and is the largest remaining natural area within the lower reach of the Willamette providing necessary habitat for fish and wildlife. Native wildlife populations include threatened salmon and more than 175 species of birds. Everyone is welcome; no experience is necessary!\nDate & Time: Saturday, August 22, 2026 from 9 am to 11:30 am.\nWhat to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.\nAdvanced Registration: Required.
