DESCRIPTION:Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge Planting Event\nPlease join Portland Parks & Recreation and the Friends of Oaks Bottom for a planting and non-native plant removal event at Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge.\nWe will be planting and mulching native shrubs to benefit the health of this ecosystem and provide more habitat for local wildlife. If there’s time, we will remove non-native plants. Gloves, tools, and instruction will be provided.\nRegistration is required.\nTo register, please fill out the registration form.\nMeeting Location\nPark at and enter the part at the North Parking Lot & Trailhead. Enter the trail which will be marked with a white A-frame sign on the south side of the parking lot. There will be about a ~10 minute walk downhill on a paved path to our meeting site. Follow the event signs and look for the green canopy. \nParking lot map\nIf the parking lot is full, there is additional parking along SE Milwaukie Avenue.\n
